August 1950Company was founded at 13 Kanda-Asahi-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
May 1952Established as a stock company, named Nikko Shokai Co., Ltd.
July 1953Headquarter was transferred to 11 Kanda-Higashi-Matsushita-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
August 1956Urawa Factory was established at 98 Bessho, Urawa.
April 1960Manufacturing functions are made independent, established as Nikko Scientific &Chemical Industries Co., Ltd.
February 1961Headquarter was transferred to 2-6 Honmachi, Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
March 1961Designated as a JIS- (Japan Industrial Standards) certified plant.
August 1962Osaka sales office was established at 45 Kobata-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka.
July 1964Nikko Shokai Co., Ltd. and Nikko Scientific & Chemical Industries Co., Ltd. are merged as a measure to strengthen capital and increase product sales. The merged company was named as Nikko Scientific & Chemical Industries Co., Ltd.
June 1965Headquarter was transferred to 1-26 Kanda-Suda-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
April 1969Nagoya sales office was established at 2-20-20 Nishiki, Naka-ku, Nagoya.
August 1969Capital increase was implemented to 80 million yen, through capital participation by Tokyo Small and Medium Business Investment & Consultation Co., Ltd.
April 1970Osaka sales office was transferred to 1-12 Kitahama-higashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka.
April 1972Nikko Scientific & Chemical Industries Co., Ltd. business affairs division was made independent, continuing business as affiliated company, Nikko Fine Products Co., Ltd.
March 1974Tatebayashi Factory was completed at Aoyagi-Naegi-Nishi, Tatebayashi, Gunma Prefecture.
April 1974Nikko S.C. Co., Ltd. was established.
November 1982Gunma Factory was completed. All Urawa Factory functions were transferred to new factory. Company's name was changed to Nikko Rica Corporation.
August 1990Capital increase was implemented, raising capital to 100 million yen.
September 1994NFP Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. was established in Malaysia.
August 1995On the company's 45th Anniversary, it is merged with Nikko S.C.
September 1995Joint venture company Battery Materials Corp. was established with N.V. Union Miniere S.A. (Belgium) and Mitsui & Co., Ltd.
February 1996Headquarter was transferred to 4-4-10 Muro-machi, Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
March 1998Nagoya sales office was transferred to 4-3-26 Sakae, Naka-ku, Nagoya.
March 2000Nagoya sales office was closed and integrated with Osaka sales office as Kansai Office.
July 2000On the company's 50th Anniversary, it is merged with Nikko Fine Products Co., Ltd.
October 2003ISO9001 Certification was acquired.
November 2004Battery Materials Corp. was dissolved.
January 2005ISO14001 Certification was acquired.
December 2005Headquarter was transferred to 10-2 Kanda-Tomiyama-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
August 2006Capital increase was implemented, raising capital to 198.6435 million yen.
March 2009Dissolved NFP Industries (M) Sdn.Bhd.
October 2010Capital increased to 297.9595 million yen.
